Human Resources Assistant

Melero Careers is seeking a Human Resources Assistant. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting the HR manager in supporting Human Resources activities for both hourly and salaried team members. The Human Resources Assistant will focus on the following functional areas: -Recruiting -Benefit Administration -New employee orientation -Employee Relations -Community Relations Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: -Solid understanding of employment law and benefit programs -Excellent verbal and written communication skills -Good problem-solving abilities -Excellent computer skills specifically with Microsoft Office Applications -Positive attitude Experience and Education: -Proven work experience as an HR Manager or Specialist -Experience in IT and Social Media preferred. -Hands-on experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) -Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems -Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Management, or Communications and a minimum of two years of experience in Human Resources Specialist or Generalist role
